DRAFT <br />MINUTES <br />RANCHO PALOS VERDES CITY COUNCIL <br />ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 4, 2017 <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:51 P.M. by Mayor Pro Tem Duhovic in the Fireside <br />Room at Fred Hesse Community Park, 29301 Hawthorne Blvd., notice having been <br />given with affidavit thereto on file. <br />City Council roll call was answered as follows: <br />PRESENT: Brooks, Dyda, Misetich, and Mayor Pro Tem Duhovic <br />ABSENT: Mayor Campbell <br />Also present were Deputy City Manager Gabriella Yap; City Clerk Emily Colborn; <br />Deputy City Clerk Teresa Takaoka. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA: <br />Mayor Pro Tem Duhovic moved, seconded by Councilman Dyda, to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br />Without objection, Mayor Pro Tem Duhovic so ordered. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS: <br />Noel Weiss, suggested that the applicants for the Emergency Preparedness Committee <br />be made aware of the issue relevant to the tanks in San Pedro/Wilmington that are next <br />to Rancho Palos Verdes that would be exposed and cause a threat to the City in the <br />event of an emergency. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS: <br />Interview Applicants for the Emergency Preparedness Committee <br />Council Members conducted interviews with the following applicants for the openings on <br />the Emergency Preparedness Committee: Marty Foster, Kate Flanagan, and Diana <br />Feinberg. <br />No action was taken. <br />/_10,191110LIIJi14Ll11S <br />Mayor Pro Tem Duhovic adjourned the meeting at 7:09 P.M. <br />Attest: <br />City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />1 <br />
