The City and Agency may <br /> enter into aj oint exercise of powers agreement and create a <br /> separate public entity such as the Rancho Palos Verdes <br /> P ' <br /> Improvement Authority. The City Council would sit as the <br /> governing board of the Authority. <br /> The purpose of the joint exercise of powers agreement <br /> • p � for the implemen- <br /> tation <br /> to establish the Authority and to provide P <br /> tation of the Reimbursement and Settlement Agreement entered into <br /> by the City, Agency the and the County of Los Angeles in <br /> ov <br /> connection with the Horan lawsuit. The agreement provides that <br /> all moneys received by the Authority, the Agency or the City 1111 <br /> Pursuant to the Reimbursement and Settlement Agreement must be <br /> paid to the Authority and deposited in the improvement fund to be <br /> used for the purposes set forth in the Reimbursement and <br /> Settlement Agreement.
