AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br /> TO AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACTUAL SERVICES <br /> THIS AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACTUAL SERVICES <br /> ("Amendment")by and between the CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES("City")and Michael <br /> Baker International,Inc.,a Pennsylvania corporation("Contractor"), is effective as of the 31' day <br /> of July, 2018. <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. City and Contractor entered into that certain Agreement for Contractual Services <br /> dated June 6th, 2017 ("Agreement")whereby Contractor agreed to provide On-call Street Design, <br /> Bridge and Structure Design, Water Quality and Compliance, Storm Water and Drainage Facility <br /> Design,Traffic Engineering Design Services. <br /> B. City and Contractor now desire to amend the Agreement to increase compensation for <br /> FY 2018-19 to $250,000, to include design services associated with the Storm Drain Deficiency <br /> Improvement Project(SDDIP), and to increase the not-to-exceed Contract Sum to $650,000. <br /> TERMS <br /> 1. Contract Changes.The Agreement is amended as provided herein.Deleted text is <br /> indicated in stfikethr-ettglh and added text in bold italics. <br /> a. Section 2.1, Contract Sum, is amended to read: <br /> "Subject to any limitations set forth in this Agreement, City agrees to pay <br /> Consultant the amounts specified in the"Schedule of Compensation"attached hereto <br /> as Exhibit"C" and incorporated herein by this reference. The total compensation, <br /> including reimbursement for actual expenses, shall not exceed <br /> ix Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars($650,000)(the <br /> "Contract Sum"), unless additional compensation is approved pursuant to Section <br /> 1.9. Compensation shall not exceed $100,000 per fiscal year, except that <br /> compensation for FY 2018-19 shall not exceed Two Hundred Fifty Thousand <br /> Dollars($250,000)." <br /> b. Exhibit"A-1", SDDIP Scope of Work, is added as follows: <br /> "EXHIBIT"A-1" <br /> SDDIP SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Consultant shall perform professional design civil engineering services needed to <br /> upgrade the City's storm drain facilities. In June, 2015 Consultant updated the <br /> Master Plan of Drainage for Year 2 of the City's SDDIP(Storm Drain Deficiency <br /> Improvement Program). This update included recommended improvements. <br /> Consultant will perform a supplemental detailed hydrology and hydraulic analysis <br />
