Pursuant to Section 2.20.060 of the Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal Code, the City

each advisory board on an annual basis per City Council Policy No. 6. Therefore, in May
2025, Staff reached out to the current Commissioners and Committee Members to notify
them of the opportunity to express interest in serving as chairpersons of their respective
boards in Fiscal Year 2025-26.
The following members have expressed interest in serving as Chairperson:

affirmed as presented. The appointed Chairpersons will serve from July 1, 2025 until
June 30, 2026 (unless otherwise decided by the City Council), which will align the

serving as the Chair to their respective boards before deciding upon their
appointments, continue this agenda item and direct Staff to arrange
interviews of each of the applicants with the full Council, at a future date to
be determined.
