BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION:
The City’s Gifts for Parks Program, established in 1982, provides a means by which
interested individuals, organizations, and/or businesses may contribute funds or
merchandise to enhance the City’s Recreation and Parks facilities and programs.
Donations, as prescribed by law, are tax-deductible as charitable contributions.
The City has received the following donations from January 1, through March 31, 2022.
Hesse Park Commemorative Bench ($3,000)
• Fran Wintroub: $3,000, in memory of Dr. Ray Wintroub
Interpretive Center Amphitheatre Plaques ($2,000)
• Elysia Heller and Christian Marsh: $2,000, in memory of Cheryl Marsh
• Nick Warhol: $2,000, in memory of Susan Patricia Warhol
• Timothy Murphy: $2,000, in memory of Laura G. Hasencamp
