A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES FINDING THAT THE PROJECTS
AND PROGRAMS CONTAINED IN THE FY 2022-23 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE GOALS
AND POLICIES OF THE RANCHO PALOS VERDES GENERAL
PLAN.
WHEREAS, Sections 65103 & 65401 of the California Government Code require
that the Planning Commission review the City's Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for
its conformance with the City's General Plan; and,
WHEREAS, on January 24, 2022, February 21, 2022, March 14, 2022, and April
18, 2022, the Infrastructure Management Advisory Committee (IMAC) conducted public
meetings and considered the proposed FY 2022-23 projects and programs as part of their
overall mission to provide advice on the City Council and the Public Works Department;
and,
WHEREAS, on April 12, 2022, The Planning Commission considered the FY 2022-
23 CIP for conformity with the City's General Plan, and at which time all interested parties
were given an opportunity to be heard and present evidence.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES, HEREBY FINDS, DETERMINES, AND RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The proposed projects and programs identified in the FY 2022-22
CIP are consistent with the applicable goals and policies of the General Plan.
SECTION 2. The proposed projects and programs in the FY 2022-23 CIP are
consistent with the following General Plan Elements and goals and policies:

SECTION 3. For the foregoing reasons and based on the information and findings
included in the Staff Report and all other records of the proceedings, which are attached
hereto and made a part thereof by reference, the Planning Commission hereby finds that
the City's FY 2022-23 CIP is consistent with the Rancho Palos Verdes General Plan.
