Preface
The objectives of the start-up and commissioning services of the CarDetector system for fixed
camera application are as follows:
• Confirm that the system has been installed per manufacturer's recommendations
• Configure the system for initial start-up to allow immediate use of all warranted
manufacturer's intended features and functionality
• Verify the system operates and communicates as specified by manufacturer
• Facilitate making any necessary modifications to the system in which may be required to
render the system fully operable under conditions in which the system was designed to
operate
• Offer a feedback report to the end user client which outlines any installation discrepancies
between actual installation and manufacturer's recommendations
• Alert the end user client to any deficiencies that may result based on observations of site
conditions which are different than system design and/or installation intent
The start-up and commissioning services DO NOT include the following:
• Corrective action of any aspect of contractor's installation outside the manufacturer's
installation guide lines
• Corrective action resulting from any installation that may result in design or application use
outside manufacturer's design and application guide lines
• Extend any software/hardware warranty beyond the terms and conditions outlined by the
warranty and support services purchased by the end user client
