Han (page A-1) BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION: The claimant alleges that on January 13, 2020, while playing tackle football at Miraleste Intermediate School, he sustained injuries from other players due to school staff ’s negligence in not supervising the field. The City’s Claims Administrator, Carl Warren and Company, has reviewed the claim and advised the City to reject it due to the determination that the City does not have jurisdiction over the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District or Miraleste Intermediate School. 1
