These improvements include installation of an Interactive Exhibit Program (IEP), installation of a new parking lot, construction of a new restroom, grasslands and landscaping, new trails, and picnic areas/overlooks. The IEP contains 4 interactive outside exhibits, the Tongva Meeting Place, Japanese Farming, Geology and Archeology Dig. The focus of this project to educate the general public. The first phase of this project is to prepare a master plan for all of these improvements. Subsequently, the improvements will be designed and constructed.
