Map of SCE-related incidents within past ten years (page A-1) BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION: At tonight’s meeting, Southern California Edison (SCE) will be presenting information regarding their Wildfire Mitigation Program , including a better testing system, an aggressive vegetation removal program, aggressive pole inspection program and utilizing smart switches. Although SCE-related fire events have long been a concern for the City and residents of Rancho Palos Verdes, recent devastating fires in the State have prompted the City to ask SCE to present its plan to address those concerns.
