Ordinance Revisions.
DISCUSSION
This item was originally scheduled for consideration for tonight's meeting. However, Staff
received public comment requesting that the hearing be postponed to allow for additional
time to review and comment on the Final EIR and proposed Code Amendment. While
there is no formal comment period for a Final EIR, Staff agreed to move the date for City
Council consideration of the Final EIR and Code Amendment from April 15th to May 5th.
This increased the time period from 40 days to 60 days to review the FEIR in preparation
for the City Council meeting. Staff notified the public of this change with a Listserver
message on March 19, 2014. The message noted that this item will still need to appear on
the April 15th agenda because the original public notice went out with the April 15th date.
Thus, Staff recommends that the City Council continue the public hearing to the May 6,
2014 City Council meeting.
