Appendix EAppendix E Park Usage by Youth Athletic Organizations Youth sports leagues have been a steady presence in Rancho Palos Verdes and the Palos Verdes Peninsula for decades. Below is a list of sports leagues and clubs with their estimated 2014 attendance figures. Peninsula Youth Athletic Leagues and Clubs • Palos Verdes Peninsula Girls Softball (360 annual attendance) • Little Leagues (Silver Spur, Lunada Bay approximately 425 annual attendance), Rolling Hills, and Palos Verdes (900 combined annual attendance) • Peninsula Pony/Colt Leagues (185 annual attendance) • Palos Verdes Youth Football and Cheer (400 annual attendance) • Palos Verdes Basketball Association (994 annual attendance) • AYSO (4,000 annual attendance) • Fram-CQ Soccer (640 annual attendance) • PV Soccer Club (360 annual attendance) • PV Water Polo (90 annual attendance) • Zenith Aquatic Program (110 annual attendance) • U.S. Youth Volleyball League (160 annual attendance) Youth sport leagues depend heavily on the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District to provide sports fields. The City of RPV currently has one soccer field at Hesse Park and one multi -use softball/little league field at both Hesse Park and Ryan Park.
