SUBJECT: ABALONE COVE BEACH IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
(Grant# 58H4-97-0578)
Dear Mr. Crilley:
On March 4, 2003, the City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes agreed to
not proceed with the Abalone Cove Beach Improvement Project, until and unless
the City identifies other non-Proposition A funded sources for the project.
Additionally, within the next couple of months, upon completion of the City's FY
03-04 budget process, the city will formally request the re-allocation of Abalone
Cove Beach Proposition A funds to another City eligible project. The City is also
aware that it will need to reimburse the Regional Park District for the Proposition
A funds that the City had previously received from the District, for the Abalone
Cove Beach administration expenses. • 1,
