PC RES 1990-004RESOLUTION NO. 90-4 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES REVISING CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 89-41 FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 130, TO ALLOW AN INCREASE IN THE DOWNSLOPE HEIGHT OF STRUCTURES ON NINE LOTS IN TRACT NO. 45667 ALONG THE 6500 BLOCK OF PALOS VERDES DRIVE SOUTH. WHEREAS, A. & H. ASSOCIATES has requested a revision of Conditional Use Permit No. 130 to allow an increase in the downslope height of structures on nine lots in Tract NO. 45667, along the 6500 block of Palos Verdes Drive South. WHEREAS, after notice issued pursuant to the provisions of the City's Development Code, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on January 23, 1990, at which time all interested parties were given an opportunity to be heard and to present evidence; NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That the proposed site is adequate in size and configuration to accommodate the proposed use, as the revision would not increase building footprints or lot coverage. Section 2: That the site relates to streets and highways properly designed to carry the type and quantity of traffic generated, since the revision would not result in additional traffic. Section 3: That there will be no significant adverse effect on adjacent property or the permitted use thereof, as the two foot increase in height will not be noticeable from most properties and will be insignificant when viewed from the roadway or properties along Palos Verdes Drive South. Section 4: That the proposed use is not contrary to the General Plan, as density and environmental impacts are not affected by the revision. Section 5: For the foregoing reasons, the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby approves Revision "A" to Conditional Use Permit No. 130, subject to the conditions in attached Exhibit "A", said conditions being necessary for the protection of the public health, safety, and welfare. • PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED on this 23rd day of January ert McNul firman z � �Zh' J-/ �' X1, - - i J�$belrt Benard % Director of Environmental Services and Secretary to the Commission Resolution No. 90-4 Page 2 EXHIBIT "A" CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 130 REVISION "A" 1. Condition No. R-3 of City Council Resolution No. 89-41 is revised to read: "Lots 1-5 and 40-43 shall be limited to a maximum upslope height of sixteen (16) feet and to a maximum downslope height of twenty-six (26) feet." 2.
