A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES RECOMMENDING
ACCEPTANCE OF DEVELOPMENT CODE AMENDMENT NO.
26 AS REVISED AND CERTIFIED BY THE CALIFORNIA
COASTAL COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, on June 21, 1988, the Rancho Palos Verdes City
Council, after receiving the Planning Commission's
recommendation and holding public hearings, adopted
Development Code Amendment No. 26 revising development
standards for the Commercial Recreational Zoning
District; and,
WHEREAS, said Commercial Recreational Zoning District
lies within the Coastal Zone therefore any revision to the
development standards for the district require review and
certification by the California Coastal Commission; and,
WHEREAS, on November 14, 1989, the California Coastal
Commission pursuant to a public hearing, reviewed and
certified Development Code Amendment No. 26 with several
minor revisions to the language originally adopted by the
City (Exhibit 'A').
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1: That the revisions made by the Coastal
Commission are minor in nature and do not affect the
substance of the amendment.
Section 2: For the foregoing reasons, the Planning
Commission hereby recommends that Development Code Amendment
No. 26, as revised and certified by the California Coastal
Commission, be accepted by the City Council.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED on this 12th day of
December, 1989.
