RESOLUTION P.C. NO. 87 - 6
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES APPROVING VARIANCE NO. 152
AT 28367 SAN NICHOLAS DRIVE
WHEREAS, Sanford Abramowitz has requested a variance to allow a garage
addition that encroaches 11'-6" into the 20 foot front setback at 28367 San
Nicholas Drive as required by the City Development Code; and
WHEREAS, after notice pursuant to the City's Development Code, a public
hearing was held on January 27, 1987 at which time all interested parties were
given an opportunity to be heard and present evidence.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That an administrative error occurred in the issuance
of building permits for the garage addition and said construction is not
detrimental to the public welfare.
Section 2: The approved plans were inaccurate and a granting of a
fee waiver is not justified.
Section 3: There shall be no eave extensions on the garage addition.
Section 4: For the foregoing reasons, the Planning Commission of
the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby approves Variance No. 152.
APPROVED and ADOPTED January 27, 1987.
