RESOLUTION P.C. NO. 86-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 33, ALLOWING AN INCREASE
IN`BUILDING HEIGHT ON LOT 7, TRACT 32110 FROM 22
FEET TO 29 FEET.
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. John Girardi have applied for an
amendment to Conditional Use Permit No. 33 which would allow the building
height of a residence on Jot 7, Tract 32110 to be increased from 22 feet
to 29 feet; and
WHEREAS, after notice was issued pursuant to the provisions
of the Rancho Palos Verdes Development Code, public hearings were held on
August 27, November 26, and December 10, 1985 at which time all interested
parties were given an opportunity to be heard and present evidence.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That there would be no view impairment resulting
from the proposed 7 foot increase in building height.
Section 2: That there is no view corridor over lot 7 in a
westerly direction.
Section 3: That the proposed building footprint conforms
with the City's Development Code standards relating to setbacks and lot
coverage.
Section 4: That allowing vehicular access from the Crenshaw
Boulevard right-of-way would not be _in the best interest of the City.
Section 5: For the foregoing reasons, the Planning Commission
of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby approves this amendment to
Conditional Use Permit No. 33, subject to the conditions contained in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto.

EXHIBIT "A"
This amendment to Conditional Use Permit No. 33 is approved subject to the
following conditions:
1. The final building plans shall be in substantial compliance to those plans
reviewed by the Planning Commission with this application.
2. The maximum height for the two story portion of the proposed residence shall
not exceed 29 feet; the maximum height for the one story portion shall not
exceed 16 feet, measured pursuant to the Development Code.
3. Vegetation on lot 7 shall be maintained so as not to exceed a height of 16
feet.
4. No vehicular access is permitted from the Crenshaw Boulevard right-of-way.
5. Conditions number 1 - 7 and 9 - 13.h (inclusive) of Resolution P.C. No. 78-31
shall continue to apply to the subject lot .
