PC RES 1985-027 RESOLUTION P.C. NO. 85- 27
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES DENYING VARIANCE NO. 125 AND COASTAL
PERMIT NO. 19.
WHEREAS, Mr. Robert Haase has requested a Variance to allow
enclosure of an existing porch which would constitute expansion of a non-
conforming commercial building and use at 6108 Palos Verdes Drive South,
Rancho Palos Verdes, and;
WHEREAS, after notice pursuant to the City's Development Code, a
public hearing was held on October 22, 1985, at which time all interested
parties were given an opportunity to be heard and present evidence.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 : That there are no unusual circumstances relating to the
size, shape, topography or location of the subject property since the subject
lot is a regularly shaped, relatively level , corner lot.
Section 2: That the granting of such a variance will be contrary
to the objectives of the General Plan (p. 196) and Coastal Specific Plan
(pp. S4=9,10).
Section 3: For the foregoing reasons, the Planning Commission
of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby denies Variance No. 125.and
Coastal Permit No. 19. i
