PC RES 1985-026RESOLUTION P.C. NO. 85 - 26 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES RECOMMENDING REVISIONS TO CODE AMENDMENT NO. 20 WHEREAS, the City Council referred certain revisions to the Planning Commission on October 1, 1985. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered these revisions on October 8, 1985. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That the Code revisions meet the intent of the original Planning Commission recommendation of July 9, 1985. Section 2: That the Code revisions are consistent with the intent of the General Plan. Section 3: For the foregoing reasons, the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby recommends approval of the revisions to Code Amendment pursuant to Exhibit A attached. Hightower Secretary to the Commission and Director of Environmental Services EXHIBIT "A" REVISIONS TO CODE AMENDMENT NO. 20 Section 1: Section 17.30.040-A.3is amended to read as follows: 17.30.040.A.3. Access to a lawful use is permitted in the OH District, pro- vided no other practical access to said use is available and such access will not alter the character of the premises in respect to permitted uses in the OH District. Section 2: Section 17.44.060.D5 is amended to read as follows: 17.44.060.D5. Compact parking not to exceed twenty percent of the total number of approved spaces is permitted. Compact stalls shall be a minimum of eight feet by fifteen feet six inches and marked for compact use only unless a different sized stall is authorized or required. Section 3: Section 17.57.020 is amended to read as follows: 17.57.020 Scope The Planning Commission may only grant extreme slope permits for the construction of: A. Decks including cantilever extending a maximum of six feet into the extreme slope area. B. Solar Panels/Tanks extending a maximum of twelve feet into the extreme slope area. Resolution P.C. No. 85-26
