A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO.
90 AT 22 CAYUSE LANE
WHEREAS, the landowner, Dr. Parsa, has made the application to
allow an eight hundred square foot (800 sq. ft.) addition to be made
to an existing retirement/boarding home at 22 Cayuse Lane to allow the
addition of four clients; and
WHEREAS, after public hearings were held on June 26, 1984,
August 14, 1984 and February 26, 1985, at which time all interested parties
were given an opportunity to be heard and present evidence.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the proposed addition would increase the
intensity of this non -conforming use to an excessive degree in relation
to the surrounding residential zone and associated uses.
Section 2: That associated with the proposed addition is a
potential increase in traffic and parking requirements on surrounding
residential streets (public and private).
Section 3: That the proposed addition may significantly ands
adversely affect adjacent property in this area through the increased intensity
of this use.
Section 4: That the proposal is contrary to the intent of the
General Plan for the foregoing reasons.
Section 5: For the foregoing reasons, the Planning Commisison of
the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby denies Conditional Use Permit No. 90.
