PC RES 1985-001RESOLUTION P.C. NO. 85-1 RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMPASSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO APLOS VERDES RECOMENDING DENIAL OF GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 15 AND ZONE CHANGE NO. 14 WHEREAS, Leon and Ingrid Zamfirescu have made application requesting a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation from 1-2 dwelling units per acre to 2-4 dwelling units per acre and change the zoning from RS -2 to RS -4 for property located at 5702 Crest Road; and WHEREAS, after a public hearing was held on January 15, 1985, at which time all interested parties were given an opportunity to be heard and present evidence; NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That the proposed General Plan Amendment and Zone Change would not be consistent with the existing General Plan and zoning designations nor with the density of the surrounding property (Tract 38848) south of Crest Road. Section 2: That the proposed zone change would create an inconsistency in the existing zoning boundary. Section 3: That the proposed General Plan Amendment and Zone Change could have several significant environmental impacts involving traffic circulation, parking and density. Section 4: For the foregoing reason, the Planning Commission of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby recommends denial of General Plan Amendment No. 15 and Zone Change No. 14.
