A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES DENYING TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO. 8666
WHEREAS, Tentative Parcel Map No. 8666 (Revised) has been filed, which would
allow for the division of a 156,380 square foot site into three (3) parcels, each
exceeding 20,000 square feet; and
WHEREAS, Tentative Parcel Map No. 8666 is located on the west side of Palos
Verdes Drive East, approximately 700 feet south of Miralest Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed this matter at public hearings
held on June 12, 1984 at which time all interested parties were given an opportunity to
be heard and present evidence.
NOW., THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES
DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the division of the one (1) 156,380 square foot parcel into
three (3) parcels, each greater than 20,000 square feet, is consistent with the City's
General Plan and Development Code.
Section 2: That the Negative Declaration for this project was filed on
January 17, 1983 in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act guidelines and
this project is in compliance with same.
Section 3: That the site is not physically suitable to accommodate three (3)
lots in terms of proposed layout and potential uses.
Section 4: For the foregoing reasons, the Planning Commission of the City of
Rancho Palos Verdes hereby denys Tentative Parcel Map No. 8666.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 12th day of June 1984.
