A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES APPROVING AN
AMENDMENT TO CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 33
WHEREAS, the Palos Verdes Park Place Homeowners Association has made
application to construct a six (6) foot wall on the -property -line between.Del
Cerro Park and lots 2,3,4,5,6,7 of Tract No. 32110; and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held on September 13, 1983 at which time the
applicant and the Planning Commission discussed the issues pertaining to this
case.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The site is adequate in size and shape to accomodate a
six (6) foot block wall.
Section 2: The proposed wall will not exceed the maximum height
established by the City of Rancho Palos Verdes Development Code, nor increase
view impairment.
Section 3: For the foregoing reasons, the Planning Commission of the
City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby grants this amendment to Conditional Use Permit
No. 33 with the condition that:
The wall be constructed to gradually step up from a height of
3-1/2 feet to 6 feet at lot no. 5 and Del Cerro Park and lot
no. 4 and Del Cerro Park and that the wall in the front yard
setback of lot no. 2 along Park Place is to remain at a height
of 5 feet.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 13th day of September, 1983.
