WORK SESSION
1. Golden Cove Pro]ect The representatives of the Golden
Cove project, Howard Adler, Robert
Smith, Walkie Ray, and Jeff Proster,
discussed lower density proposals and distributed data sheets on project
densities of 15.9 and 11.8 du/ac.
The discusssion included densities, moderate housing, commercial impacts,
trade-offs, site development, and costs.
There was a consensus that a density of 9-10 du/ac. with some kind of
bonus for moderate units might be feasible. The project representatives
will determine what they want to pursue prior to the June 28 meeting.
2. Additions in Moratorium The Commission discussed the geological
- and liability issues involved with
allowing additions. It was the
consensus that the Ordinance should not be amended to allow additions,
but that it should be revised to allow the Planning Commission to decide
on minor projects (Section g) with appeal to Council. After the Commission
has reviewed some of these minor projects some criteria may be required.
Staff is to forward this to Council.
ADJOURMENT The meeting was adjourned at 10:35 p.m.
