SPECIFIC PLAN
CARRYING CAPACITIES
The Commissioners discussed various alter-
native carrying capacities for sub -regions
1, 3, and 7.
It was agreed that, for sub -region 1, a density of 1 du/ac was most desirable; however,
clustering could be permitted up to a density of 6 du/ac in cluster.
For sub -region 3, it was agreed that alternative 3A (i.e., residential) was most ap-
propriate, with density in the coastal section of the sub -region at 1 du/ac. The
carrying capacity in the inland parcels of sub -region 3 were agreed in a range generally
of 2-6, but no more precise decision was made.
It was agreed up to 2 du/ac might be carrying capacity for sub -region 7, although
clustering could be permitted. Some consideration should still be given to agricul-
tural use.
Mr. Rosenberg left the chambers at 10:40 p.m. and did not return.
ADJOURNMENT At 11:00 p.m. it was moved, seconded, and
carried to adjourn the meeting.
