A RESOLUTION OF THE RANCHO PALOS VERDES
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DECLARING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
NECESSARY FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES AND AUTHORIZING THE
II/ ACQUISITION THEREOF.
THE RANCHO PALOS VERDES REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE,
ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The Rancho Palos Verdes Redevelopment Agency is a
public body, corporate and politic, in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes,
County of Los Angeles, State of California. A certified copy of an ordi-
nance duly adopted by the legislative body of the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes, declaring that there is a need for such agency to function in the
City of Rancho Palos Verdes , has been duly filed in the office of the
California Secretary of State as provided by Health and Safety Code Section
33102.
Section 2. A redevelopment plan for the Rancho Palos Verdes
Redevelopment Project Area No. 1 in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes has
been duly adopted by ordinance of the City Council of the City of Rancho
Palos Verdes entitled "An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of
Rancho Palos Verdes Adopting Project Area No. 1" adopted on November 27 ,
1984. The acquisition of the real property herein described is within said
Plan and Project and such acquisition is necessary for purposes of redeve-
lopment.
Section 3. The property hereinafter described is to be taken for
a public use, namely, for redevelopment as defined in the Community
Redevelopment Law, Health and Safety Code Section 33000 to 34152, inclu-
sive, and in particular, in Section 33020 and 33021 , pursuant to the
authority conferred upon the Rancho Palos Verdes Redevelopment Agency to
acquire property by eminent domain by said Community Redevelopment Law, and
in particular by Health and Safety Code Section 33391 .
Section 4. The property to be taken is all interests other than
those interests owned by either the Rancho Palos Verdes Redevelopment
Agency or the City of Rancho Palos Verdes in that certain parcel of land
which is located in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, situated entirely
within the Rancho Palos Verdes Redevelopment Project Area No. 1 , and
described as follows:

Beginning at a point set by the County of Los Angeles
named "Port BN POINT 82" and described as being located
at coordinates N4016614 . 34 and E4176084 . 68 thence S84
degrees 38 ' 10" E 98 . 93 feet to a point on the westerly
boundary of Parcel 1 of Parcel Map 17161 thence
northerly and northwesterly along said boundary 278 . 50
feet N 5 degrees 21 ' 50" E; 310. 05 feet N 3 degrees
54 ' 50" E; 253 .86 feet N 3 degrees 27 ' 45" W;
106. 73 ' N 39 degrees 18 ' 50" W to the true point of
beginning being a point on the boundary of Parcel 1 of
Parcel Map 17161; thence N 15 degrees 08 ' 50" E 247.81,
to a point being on the southerly boundary of the 80
foot wide right-of-way of Palos Verdes Drive South.
Thence N 50 degrees 59 ' 45" E, 83 .98 feet to a tangent
curve concave southerly and having a radius of 1460
feet being on the southerly boundary of the
right-of-way of Palos Verdes Drive South thence
northeasterly and easterly 595. 05 feet along said curve
thence leaving the right-of-way boundary of Palos
Verdes Drive South on a radial line S 15 degrees
39 ' 08" E 102 .75 feet, thence N 69 degrees 57 ' 50" E
225. 00 feet, thence S 76 degrees 20 ' 46" E 90. 14 feet,
thence N 69 degrees 57 ' 5n" E 75. 00 feet, thence N 0
degrees 08 ' 0 3" E 71. 57 feet to a point on the
southerly boundary of the right-of-way of Palos Verdes
Drive South said boundary being a curve concave
southerly with a radius of 1460 feet and radial at said
point being N 0 degrees 08 ' 03" E, thence easterly
along said curve 70.22 feet, thence leaving said
boundary N 74 degrees 49 ' 38" E 215. 98 feet to a point
on the northerly boundary of the 80 foot right-of-way
of Palos Verdes Drive South, said point being 45. 00
feet S 81 degrees 07 ' 30" E of the westerly end of the
984. 61 foot line of the same bearing of the northerly
boundary of the said road right-of-way, thence S 81.

point of beginning.

Section 5. The governing body of the Rancho Palos Verdes
Redevelopment Agency has found and determined, and hereby finds and deter-
mines that:
(a) The public interest and necessity require the proposed
project:
(b) The proposed project is planned or located in the manner
that will be most compatible with the greatest public good and the least
private injury;
(c) The property hereinabove described is necessary for the
proposed project;
(d) The offer required by Section 7267.2 of the Government
Code has been made to the owners of record.
