RDA LEGISLATIVE PROGRAM
Executive Director Bussey referred to the legislative strategy
memorandum of June 27, 1993 which was developed by Charles Abbott
with input from staff. Exhibit I to this report was entitled
Restoration of the Portuguese Bend Marine Environment and
Establishment of Onshore Gnatcatcher Habitat; Exhibit II listed the
legislators and agencies to be contacted by staff in implementing
this suggested strategy.
I/
The Board suggested that the title of Exhibit I be revised to more
accurately reflect the intent of the document; also, that staff
determine if other contacts should be included since the matter of
the gnatcatcher was now part of this strategy.
Lois Larue, 3136 Barkentine Road, questioned why water was being
let run into the slide area and questioned why the RDA had this
strategy.
Audience Comments: Responding to the Chair's call for audience
