CC RES 1973-042L11N0 IN N•S•A• WHEREAS countless hours and immeasurable effort have been expended in the causes of local control, low density, and open space; and WHEREAS the goal was achieved despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles; Now THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Rancho Palos Verdes extends its sincerest thanks to for his dedicated service during the past five years, and for his persistent determination that the beauty of the Palos Verdes Peninsula never be sacrificed, no matter what the pressures; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, as its first step in civic beautification, will plant three trees honoring Mr. Curtis and his equally dedicated co-workers, Mrs. Dorothy Le Conte and Mr. Frederick W. Hesse. ADOPTED this 10th day of October, 1973, by unanimous action of the City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes. 0
