CC RES 1973-059 RESOLUTION NO. 59 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES APPROVING INTERIM DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. 1 WHEREAS, application has been made for the subject interim development permit; and WHEREAS, the requisite public hearing has been held pursuant to Ordinance No. 9; II/ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes does hereby make those findings set forth in Exhibit A to this Resolution and does hereby approve the issuance of the subject interim development permit upon the conditions set forth in Exhibit A hereto. Af4 /42,— MAYOR 4_04.4,4../1-\ ' i �-� CITY CLERK / • • CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VE RDE S DATE OF HEARING INTERIM DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. 1 STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS DECEMBER 18 , 1973 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: The subject property is a recorded lot in an area committed to single family development. The applicant' s contention that he is being denied a property right enjoyed by his neighbors appears valid. The proposed construction of a single family residence would not in the opinion of the staff be detrimental to surrounding properties but would complete the neighborhood pattern. The staff recommends Conditional Approval subject to the attached conditions. • • RECOMMENDED CONDITIONS INTERIM DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. 1 The following list of conditions is provided for the Council' s consideration, if after the public hearing they choose to approve the applicant' s request: 71a-t- 1. This permit shall be effective for any purpose until the owner of the property or his representative has filed with the City Clerk his affidavit stating that he is aware of, and accepts, all the conditions of approval. 2. It is hereby declared to be the intent that if any provision of this permit is held or declared to be invalid, the permit shall be void and the privileges granted hereunder shall lapse; 3. It is further declared and made a condition of this permit that if any condition hereof is violated, or if any law, statute, or ordinance is violated, the permit shall be suspended and the privileges granted hereunder shall lapse, provided that the applicant has been given written notice to cease such violation and has failed to do so for a period of thirty (30) days ; 4. That all requirements of the Zoning Ordinance and of the specific and urgency zoning of subject property 4 • ' ' ► • • must be complied with unless set forth in the permit or shown on the approved plot plan marked Exhibit A. 5. That unless this grant is used within one year of the effective date of this approval, the grant will expire. For the purpose of this Interim Development Permit, use of the grant will be the issuance of building per- mits for the construction of a single family residence.
