CC RES 1975-026 l- RESOLUTION NO. 75-26 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES ESTABLISHING YIELD REGULATIONS AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS WITHIN THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES" THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: ItSECTION 1: Pursuant to Section 4003 of the City of Rancho alos Verdes Traffic Code, the City Council hereby finds that the public health, afety, and welfare will be best protected by establishing yield regulations on ertain streets in the City as follows: Cartier Drive - Each side of Cartier Drive at its intersection with Rhone Drive Crest Road - On the west side of Crest Road at its intersection with Ganado Drive. Floweridge Drive - On the north side of Floweridge Drive at its intersection with Hightide Drive. Palos Verdes Drive South - On the north side of Palos Verdes Drive South at its intersection with Palos Verdes Drive East; northbound and southbound traffic in the median area between the roadways of Palos Verdes Drive South at the easterly Marine and entrance opposite the Marymount College entrance, at Seahill Drive, at Barkentine Road, and at Sea Cove Drive. Palos Verdes Drive West - Eastbound and westbound traffic in the median area between the roadways of Palos Verdes Drive West at a point approximately 1,500 feet north of Rue Beaupre. SECTION 2: All previous resolutions and orders establishing yield regulations within the City of Rancho Palos Verdes are hereby rescinded. SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes does hereby establish and declare the locations mentioned in the above Section 1 are "Yield" intersections and does hereby authorize and direct the City Manager to cause signs to be erected. SECTION 4: This resolution shall not become effective until I he "Yield" signs have been posted as required in Section 3 of this resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 1 8th DAY OF MARCH , 1975.
