G2 7f1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES ORDERING • THE VACATION OF VEHICULAR ACCESS RIGHTS FOR LOT 82 OF TENTATIVE TRACT NO. 25376 FREE 3 Q THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, " DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes • on Augurt 2, 1977, adopted Resolution 77-56 entitled "A RESOLUTION OF :L THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE VEHICULAR ACCESS RIGHTS FOR LOT 82 OF TENTATIVE TRACT 'LkP NO. 25376." • Section 2. Notices of the proposed street vacation were duly posted in the manner and form and at the time required by Streets and . Highways Code Section 8322. ' Section 3. The City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes • held a public hearing thereon on Tuesday, September 20, 1977, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at the Palos Verdes Unified School District Building, 30942 Hawthorne Boulevard, Rancho Palos Verdes, California,- at which time said.City Council heard all evidence offered by persons interested in the proposed vacation and no persons were present to protest same. Section 4. The City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes does hereby find and determine that: . 1. • Said Lot 82 is a flag lot the only access to which F74- --�- .s a steep narrow easement� .hi�i will require substantial • • grading. Vacating said vehicular access rights will permit access to Lot 82 from Crest Road with minimal grading. 2. Crest. Road is no longer an arterial highway and therefore access from Crest Road will not create a traffic or safety hazard. • 3. Said vehicular access rights for Lot 82 of Tentative Tract No. 25376, shown and described on Exhibit A hereto attached and made a part hereof, are unnecessary for present or public street purposes.. and said vehicular access rights shall be and are hereby vacated. . • Section 5. The City shall cause a certified copy of this resolution and order to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles. DEDICATED INGRESS AND EGRESS RIGHTS AS SHOWN IN BOOK 65 PAGE 32 OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BOOK OF THE COUNTY RECORDER We hereby certify that we are the owners of or are interested in the land included in the subdivision shown on the annexed map, and we consent to the preparation and recordation of said map and subdivision as shown within the colored border lines, and we hereby dedicate to the public use the Drive as shown on said map within said subdivision and we grant and dedicate to the County of Los Angeles easements , for sanitary sewer and drainage purposes over the strips of land so designated on said map and all uses incident thereto, including the right to make connections therewith from any adjoining properties. We further certify that except as shown on a copy of this map on file in the office of the County Road Commissioner, we know of no easement or structure existing within the easements hereby offered for dedication to the public other than publicly owned water lines, sewers or storm drains, that we will grant no right or interest within the boundaries of said easements offered to the public except where such right or interest is expressly made subject to said easements. As a dedication to public use while all of Crest Road adjoining this subdivision remains a public highway and for such time only, we hereby abandon all rights of ingress and egress from lots 74 to 77 inclusive and from 79-82 inclusive to said Crest Road, so that the owners of said lots abutting said highway during such time will have no right of access whatever in the highway as such, except the general easement of travel which belongs to the whole public.
