A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES AMENDING THE
FEES TO BE CHARGED UNDER THE DEVELOPMENT
CODE, RESOLUTION 77-14 ,AND OTHER POLICIES
OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES,
AMENDING RESOLUTION 76-6 , AND PROVIDING
11/ FOR AN ANNUAL CHANGE OF SUCH FEES AND
CHARGES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE , DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Fees and charges to be made pursuant
to the Development Code, Resolution 77-14 , and other policies
of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes shall be as set forth in
Exhibit "A" , attached hereto.
Section 2. All fees and charges specified in
Section 1, above, shall be changed on January 1 , 1979 , and
on January 1st of each year thereafter , as follows:
a) On January 1 , 1979 , all such fees and charges
shall be equal to an amount to be determined by adding
to the current fee or charge the product obtained by
multiplying the average Gross National Product deflator
factor, for goods and services purchased by state and
local government, as published by the United States
Department of Commerce, for the four (4 ) calendar
quarters available prior to January 1 , 1979, by such
fee or charge.
b) On January 1st of each year thereafter, all
such fees or charges shall be equal to an amount to be
determined by adding to the amount of the fee or charge
in the previous calendar year the product obtained by
multiplying the average Gross National Product deflator
factor , for goods and services purchased by state and
local government, as published by the United States
Department of Commerce, for the four (4 ) calendar
quarters available prior thereto by such fee or charge.
Section 3 . The City Clerk shall within fifteen
( 15 ) days of adoption hereof post copies of this Resolution
in at least three ( 3 ) public places in the City of Rancho
Palos Verdes designated for the posting of City ordinances
and shall file proof of such posting in the official records
of said City Clerk.
Section 4 . Resolution No. 77-17 is hereby repealed.

PLANNING PERMIT DEPOSITS
The following applications require a deposit to be made at the time of
application. The actual time and expenses required for processing the
application will be charged against the deposit. If processing costs
exceed the deposit, an additional fee will be required. If the deposit
exceeds the processing cost, the remaining monies will be refunded,
except that, in the case of appeal fees, if an appeal is granted, the
fee submitted to cover the cost of hearing the appeal before that body
which granted the appeal shall be refunded.

Deposit for construction projects will not be finalized until the project

The following applications require a fee to be paid at the time of appli-

appeal fees, if an appeal is granted, the fee submitted to cover the cost
of hearing the appeal before that body which granted the appeal shall be
refunded.
