CC RES 1981-047 RESOLUTION NO. 81-47 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES DENYING THE APPEAL TO HEIGHT VARIATION NO. 174 WHEREAS, Mr. & Mrs. James Sun have appealed Height Variation No. 174 to allow a 19'6" addition at 4909 Blackhorse Road. WHEREAS, a hearing was held on June 3, 1981, at which time all interested parties were given an opportunity to be heard and present evidence. NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes does hereby FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE as follows: Section 1: That all notice requirements were met. Section 2: That the proposed structure is designed and situated in such a manner as to minimize view obstruction because all designs 16' in height blocked the view of the impacted property. Section 3: That portion over sixteen (16) feet high will not significantly impair the primary view from a property or properties identified as having a view per Rancho Palos Verdes Development Code, Section 9113C, because the property which view is impacted loses its view upon construction of any structure 16 feet in height. Section 4: That there will be no significant cumulative impact caused by allowing the addition because other buildings built in the same manner in the area will not impact views. Section 5: For the foregoing reasons, the City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes hereby denies the appeal and approves Height Variation No. 174. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th day of June, 1981. 9.14fe'(: 4Lejta'L 44gCL' MAYOR ATTEST: DONALD F.
