CC MINS 19750624 M I N U T E S RANCHO PALOS VERDES CITY COUNCIL June 24, 1975 The meeting was called to order at 6:20 p.m. in the City Offices, 30940 Haw- thorne Boulevard by Mayor Ryan. Roll call was answered as follows: PRESENT: Councilmen Gunther Buerk, Ken Dyda, Francis D. Ruth, Robert II/ E. Ryan, and Mayor Marilyn Ryan ABSENT: None Also present were Sharon Hightower, Director of Planning, and Acting City Attorney Pat Coughlan. GENERAL PLAN - WORK SESSION Council reviewed and made various re- visions to the Urban Activities sec- tion of the General Plan. RECESS At 8:15 a brief recess was called. Council reconvened at 8:27 p.m. , with the same members present. EXECUTIVE SESSION At 8:27 p.m. it was moved, seconded and carried that Council adjourn to an executive session to discuss matters of litigation. Council reconvened at 9:40 p.m. , with the same members present. GENERAL PLAN - WORK SESSION Council reviewed the Land Use map with the City Attorney. It was de- cided to change the residential den- sity categories from 2-4 d.u./acre to 2-3 d.u./acre and 3-4 d.u./acre; to put the area south of Crest Road in the 2-3 d.u./acre category, and; to put the area east of Upper Abalone Cove in the 1-2 d.u./acre category. A list of approved changes is attached hereto and incorporated herein as a part of these minutes.
