Adjourned Regular Meeting
January 30, 1975
The meeting was called to order at 7:45 p.m. at the City Offices, 31244 Palos Verdes
Drive West, notice having been given with affidavit thereto on file. Roll call was
answered as follows:
PRESENT: Councilmen Gunther Buerk, Ken Dyda, Francis D. Ruth, Robert E. Ryan,
and Mayor Marilyn Ryan
ABSENT: None
Also present were City Manager Leonard G. Wood, Planning Director Sharon Hightower,
Public Works Director Dennis Pikus, and Community Services Officer Tom Bandy.
PUBLIC HEARING - Continued hearing was opened on the
1974 HOUSING & COMMUNITY Housing & Community Development Act.
DEVELOPMENT ACT After receiving questions and comments
(601) from the audience, the hearing was
declared closed.
Following comments and questions by the Council, it was moved by Councilman Dyda,
seconded by Councilman Ryan, and unanimously carried to authorize staff to sign
cooperation agreement with the County under provisions of the Housing and Community
Development Act.
NIKE SITE Council heard a presentation from Arthur D.
(1109) Little Inc. regarding developmental concepts
for the Nike Site.
ALTERNATIVE DEVELOPMENT CONCEPTS The City Council discussed a received public
(701) input regarding the Alternative Development
concepts.
ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 10:50 p.m. on
motion of Councilman Ruth, seconded by
Councilman Ryan, and carried.
