CC MINS 19750128 ADJ M I N U T E S RANCHO PALOS VERDES CITY COUNCIL Adjourned Regular Meeting January 28, 1975 The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. at the City Offices, 31244 Palos Verdes Drive West, notice having been given with affidavit thereto on file. Roll call was answered as follows: PRESENT: Councilmen Ken Dyda, Francis D. Ruth, Robert E. Ryan, and Mayor Marilyn Ryan ABSENT: Councilman Gunther Buerk Also present were City Manager Leonard G. Wood, Planning Director Sharon Hightower, Public Works Director Dennis Pikus, Community Services Officer Tom Bandy, and Administrative Services Officer George Wunderlin. PUBLIC HEARING - Mayor opened the hearing regarding the 1974 HOUSING & COMMUNITY Housing and Community Development Act. DEVELOPMENT ACT There being no one present to give (601) testimony, the hearing was declared closed. CITY NAME ON It was moved by Councilman Ryan, seconded SHERIFF VEHICLES by Councilman Dyda, and unanimously carried (1206) to request the Sheriff's Department to immediately put the City name on Sheriff's vehicles. LAND USE SEMINAR The Council authorized the Mayor to attend a land use seminar co-sponsored by the Assembly Committee on Land Use and Natural Resources, League of California Cities, and League of Women Voters in Lake Tahoe on February 7 and 8. ADJOURNMENT At 12:10 a.m. , on motion of Councilman Dyda, seconded by Councilman Ruth, and carried, the meeting was adjourned to January 30, 1975, 7:30 p.m. , at the City Offices. MAYO LEONARD G.
