CC MINS 19810324 ADJM I N U T E S RANCHO PALOS VERDES CITY COUNCIL ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MARCH 24, 1981 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Barbara Hein at the Palos Verdes Unified School District Building, 30942 Hawthorne Boulevard, notice having been given with affidavit thereto on file. Roll call was answered as follows: PRESENT: RYAN, SHAW, DYDA, BACHARACH AND MAYOR HEIN Also present were City Manager Donald Guluzzy, Director of Parks and Recreation Maynard Law, and Director of Community Services Tom Bandy. PROPOSED COUNCIL - MANAGER PRIORITIES The City Manager presented the fol- FOR APRIL 1, THRU JUNE 30, 1981 lowing list of priorities to the Council for their approval: (1) pre- pare, review and adopt two -year operating budget; (2) prepare, review and adopt six year Capital Improvement Program and two -year Capital Budget; (3) complete Civic Center Feasibility Study, evaluate and decide policy direction of new facility versus renovation and additions to existing facilities; (4) recruit, select and hire Finance Director /Director of Administrative Services; (5) reorganization of City Staff; (6) preparation and approval of housing element outline; (7) Klondike Canyon Surface deformation; (8) Eastview Annexation Incorporation and (9) Ladera Linda /Loma del Mar Report. After Council discussion of the importance of each of these items, it was the con- sensus of Council to accept this list without designation of any priority. ADJOURNMENT: At 11:00 P.M. the meeting adjourned to 6:00 P.M. March 31st for a meet- ing with the Traffic Committee. The motion was made by Councilwoman Shaw, seconded by Councilman Dyda and carried.
