A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES ADOPTING CERTAIN SALARY INCREASES
FOR FULL -TIME AND REGULAR PART -TIME CITY EMPLOYEES
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1983 -84
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes
desires to implement certain salary increases for full -time and regular
part -time City personnel:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES
DOES FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: In order to be eligible for an increase an employee must
have been employed six (6) months, successfully completing probation, and must
not have attained the upper limit of the salary range determined for that
position.
Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to award merit increases
from a salary pool of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) for the regular full -time
and regular part -time support staff, professional and management employees.
This amount is hereby appropriated for this increase.
Section 3: The authorized Management, Professional and Support
Staff salary ranges for all regular, full -time City personnel are hereby
established as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached.
Section 4: The authorized permanent part -time Leisure Services
salary ranges are hereby established as set forth in Exhibit "B" attached.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18 day of October, 1983 by
following roll call vote of the City Council of the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes:
AYES: DYDA, BACHARACH, AND MAYOR RYAN
NOES: NONE
