personnel assigned to the City of Rancho Palos Verdes.
City Manager Guluzzy gave a brief overview of the Sheriff's Department services
to the City.
The Council members and Sheriff's personnel then informally discussed several
areas of concern relating to law enforcement problems in the City:
° Suggestions for improved traffic safety on Via Colinita and the
effect of closing a portion of that street on the Sheriff's
response time and the positive effect that radar enforcement has
had in that area.
° The role that the Sheriff's Department plays in representing
City Government.
° Problems with juveniles at certain locations within the City.
If a booklet containing the City's ordinances would be helpful to
the deputies in dealing with enforcement of certain problems.
How the deputies could make the City aware of any enforcement
problems they experience in the field,
