NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES FINDS, DETERMINES AND RESOLVES: Section 1. That the City Council finds from all the evidence submitted: (a) That said portion of Palos Verdes Drive East described in Attachment " " C hereto, was originally intended to be utilized for street and parkway purposes: (b) The aforesaid portion of street right -of -way is unnecessary for present or prospective public vehicular nor non - vehicular use. � L t 2 The Planning Ro � ssion ax-,d the City .ouacu hay e consiaerea he General Plan of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes and find the vacation to be in conformity with said Plan. Se ion 3. That for the street in question, the portion of the full street right -of- way as described hi Attachment "C" is unnecessary for present or anticipated public use. Section 4. Pursuant to Section 2381 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council finds and determines that the portion of right -of -way proposed for abandonment is not useful for non - motorized transportation facilities. Section 5. The City Council therefore orders vacated the portion of Palos Verdes Drive East at Corsini Place shown on Attachment "B" and described on Attachment "C" subject to the conditions of approval set forth in Attachment "A" hereto. Section 6. That the City Council reserves and exempts from the vacation the following easements and the right at any time, or from time to time., to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove, and rene -.w sanitar sewers and storm drains and appurtenant structures in, upon, over and across street right -of -way proposed to be vacated and, pursuant to any existing franchise or renewals thereof, or otherwise, to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires and other convenient structures, equipment and fixtures for the operation of gas, telephone, electrical, water, telegraphic lines, and trails, in, upon, and over the portion of street right -of -way proposed to be vacated. Section 7. The owners of Lot 13, Block 4911, Tract 7145 shall agree in writing to the conditions of vacation, set forth in Attachment "A" of this Resolution, within 30 ` t .. t , days of adoption of this Resolution by the City Council. Section 8. The City Clerk is hereby ordered to cause a certified copy of this ?W "I Resolution, attested by the City Clerk under the Seal of this City, to be recorded in the office of the County Registrar- Recorder of Los Angeles County upon satisfaction of the conditions of vacation as described on Attachment "A ".
