A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES ESTABLISHING NO
PARKING/LOADING ZONES MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 8
AM - 4 PM ON GOLDEN MEADOW DRIVE AND ON PURPLE
RIDGE DRIVE ADJACENT TO VISTA GRANDE SCHOOL
FROM THEIR INTERSECTION TO THE FIRST SCHOOL
DRIVEWAY ON EACH STREET
WHEREAS, traf f i c studies have determined that
prohibited parking restrictions are warranted in accordance with
section 15.64.180 of the Rancho Palos Verdes Traffic Ordinance,
based both on number of pedestrians and high traffic volume.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES DOES RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approves and establishes prohibited parking
regulations Monday through Friday 8 AM - 4 PM on Golden Meadow
Drive and on Purple Ridge Drive adjacent to Vista Grande School
from their intersection to the first school driveway on each
street,
Section 2. Authorizes and directs the City Manager to
cause signs to be placed indicating this "No Parking /Loading
Zone."
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED on March 21, 19 89 .
