A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 92 -95 ADOPTING CERTAIN SALARY
RANGES FOR FULL -TIME AND PART -TIME EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, on September 29, 1992, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 92 -95 containing certain salary ranges for all
full -time and part -time employees; and
WHEREAS, on October 20, 1992, the City Council authorized
the City Manager to implement the first phase of the Public Works
Reorganization Plan which proposed to staff some of the core
duties of the Public Works Department with City employees; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 92 -95 does not include salary ranges
for phase one employees; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has determined that Salary Grade
No. 55 ($3,833- $4,776 /month) is a competitive salary range for
the position of Senior Engineer; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has determined that Salary Grade
No. 46 ($3,069- $3,824 /month) is a competitive salary range for
the position of Senior Administrative Analyst; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has determined that Salary Grade
No. 41 ($2,713- $3,380 /month) is a competitive salary range for
the position of Maintenance Supervisor;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Exhibit "Al' of Resolution No. 92 -95 is hereby
amended by adding the positions of Senior Engineer, Salary Grade
No. 55, Senior Administrative Analyst, Salary Grade No. 46, and
Maintenance Supervisor, Salary Grade No. 41.
