CC RES 1993-070RESOLUTION NO. 93 -70 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES FINDING THE CITY TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE 1992 CONGESTION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM (CMP) AND APPROVING THE CMP CONFORMANCE CHECKLIST WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority ( "MTA"), acting as the Congestion Management Agency for Los Angeles County, adopted the Congestion Management Program on November 18, 1992; and WHEREAS, the adopted CMP requires that MTA annually determine that the County and cities within the County are conforming to all CMP requirements; and WHEREAS, the adopted CMP requires submittal to the MTA of the CMP self - certification checklist by August 1, 1993; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public meeting on July 20, 1993. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That the City of Rancho Palos Verdes has taken all actions reflected on the CMP Conformance Checklist, attached as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof, and that the City of Palos Verdes is in conformance with all applicable requirements 1992 CMP. of the hereto Rancho of the Section 2: That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of Resolution No. 93-70 and shall forward a copy of this Resolution to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
