A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES APPROVING TENTATIVE TRACT MAP NO. 32332 -
AMENDMENT NO. "A ", THEREBY ALLOWING THE FINAL MAP TO BE
AMENDED TO REFLECT THE MODIFIED FLOOD HAZARD ZONE AREA
ON LOT NO, 1 OF THE TRACT.
WHEREAS, Mr. Joe O 1 fiver i has submitted a request for Tentative
Tract Map No. 32332- Amendment No. "A" to allow the final map to be
amended to reflect the modified Flood Hazard Zone area on Lot No.
1 of the tract; and
WHEREAS, after notice issued pursuant to the provisions of the
Rancho Palos Verdes Development Code, the City Council of the City
of Rancho Palos Verdes held a public hearing regarding the
amendment request on January 11, 1993 at which time all interested
parties were given an opportunity to be heard and present evidence*
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the improvements made by the applicant have
been reviewed and approved by the City Engineer to eliminate that
portion of the Flood Hazard Zone designation along the westerly
property line of Lot No. 1, which is described in the attached
Exhibit "A" .
Section 2; That the applicant's request has been reviewed and
determined by the Environmental Services Department that the
proposal will not cause any significant adverse affects to the
area.
Section 3: For the foregoing reasons and based on the
information and findings included in the Staff Report and records
of the proceedings, the City Council hereby approves Tentative
Tract Map No. 32322-Amendment No . "A" subject to the conditions of
approval attached in Exhibit "B" which are necessary to protect the
public health, safety, and general welfare.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 2nd day of March, 1993.
