A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
PALOS VERDES AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 94 -47, THE BUDGET
APPROPRIATION FOR FISCAL YEAR 1994 -95, FOR A BUDGET
ADJUSTMENT TO THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, Section 3.32 of the Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal
Code provides that all expenditures in excess of budgeted
allocations must be by supplemental appropriation of the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, on June 21, 1994, the City Council of the City of
Rancho Palos Verdes adopted Resolution 94 -47, approving a spending
plan and authorizing a budget appropriation for the 1994 -95 fiscal
year; and
WHEREAS, the L.A. County Metropalitan Transportation Authority
is accepting applications for a four -year Call for Projects and the
City requires consultant assistance to prepare the applications to
be submitted to the L.A. County MTA by April 3, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the cost for these applications is not included in
the FY 1994 -95 budget and an increase in the General Fund and
Proposition C Fund is necessary; and
BE IT, THEREFORE, RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES:
That the FY 1994 -95 Annual Budget be amended as follows:
That the General Fund unreserved fund balance be reduced $6,000 and
the professional and consulting services line item (301 -39) be
increased $6,000.
