CC RES 1995-016RESOLUTION NO. 95 -16 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 94 -47, THE BUDGET APPROPRIATION FOR FISCAL YEAR 1994 -95, FOR A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO THE RECYCLING FUND WHEREAS, Section 3.32 of the Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal Code provides that all expenditures in excess of budgeted allocations must be by supplemental appropriation of the City Council; and WHEREAS, on June 21, 1994, the City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes adopted Resolution 94 -47, approving a spending plan and authorizing a budget appropriation for the 1994 -95 fiscal year; and WHEREAS, the City Council would like to increase the FY 1994- 95 Recycling Beautification Grant budget by- $91000 to $34,000; and WHEREAS, the City received an unanticipated State grant for $4,000 for its curbside recycling program which the City Council would like to apply to the recycling grant program; and WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the transfer of $5,000 from their General Fund contingency account to apply to the recycling beautification grant program; and WHEREAS, an increase in the Recycling Fund is necessary to authorize the expenditure of additional funds for this project. BE IT, THEREFORE, RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES: That the following adjustments be made to the 1994 -95 City budget: 1. Transfer $5,,000 from the City Council Contingency account (130-75) to the Recycling Fund (312). 2. Increase Recycling Fund grant revenue by $4,000 and increase City Grant expenditures (312 -68) by $9,0000 PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED THE 7TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1995.
