A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
RANCHO PALOS VERDES AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
95 -50, THE BUDGET APPROPRIATION FOR FISCAL YEAR
1995 -96, FOR A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO THE CITY'S
CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
WHEREAS, Section 3.32 of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal Code
provides that all expenditures in excess of budgeted allocations must be a
supplemental appropriation of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, on May 16, 1995, the City of the Rancho Palos Verdes adopted
resolution 95 -50, approving a spending plan and authorizing a budget appropriation for
the 1995 -96 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the integrity of the storm drain located on 5621 Montemalaga is
necessary to the protection of the homes and streets in surrounding area; and
WHEREAS, an increase in the Capital Projects Fund is necessary to authorize
the expenditure of additional funds for the project.
BE IT, THEREFORE, RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES:
That the following adjustment be made to the Capital Projects Fund Budget:
1. Decrease the Capital Improvement Projects fund balance by $8,250 and
increase improvements other than buildings in the Capital Improvement Projects
(CIP) Fund account (330 -930- 530- 00 -82) an additional $5,000 and increase
professional services in the CIP Fund account (330 -930- 530- 00 -39) an
additional $3,250.
