A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
97-55, THE BUDGET APPROPRIATION FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1997-98, FOR A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO THE
QUIMBY FUND FOR THE FRED HESSE COMMUNITY
CENTER PLAYGROUND IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, Section 3.32 of the Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal Code provides
that all expenditures in excess of budgeted allocations must be by supplemental
appropriation of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, on June 17, 1997, the City Council of the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes adopted Resolution 97-55, approving a spending plan and authorizing a budget
appropriation for the FY 1997-98 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, additional funding will be necessary to improve the drainage and
make safety enhancements to the playground area at Fred Hesse Community Center,
therefore requiring a budget adjustment.
BE IT, THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES:
That the Fiscal Year 1997-98 Quimby Fund budget amended as follows:
- Decrease the Quimby Unreserved Fund Balance by $8,595.
- Increase Capital Improvement Fund Improvements other than Buildings
(934-82) $8,595.
