A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES AMENDING RESOLUTION 97-55, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1997-98, TO TRANSFER FUNDS FROM THE BIKEWAYS/PEDESTRIANS
FUND TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS (CIP) AND GAS TAX FUNDS
WHEREAS, Section 3.32 of the Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal Code provides
that all transfers between funds must be by supplemental appropriation of the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, On June 17, 1997, The City Council of the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes adopted Resolution No. 97- 55, approving a spending plan and authorizing a
budget appropriation of the 1997-98 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the original FY 97-98 budget included $29,000 to pay for the cost of
constructing wheelchair/handicap access curb ramps, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires that fund transfers totalling $29,000 be
made from the Bikeways/Pedestrians Fund to the Capital Improvement Projects (CIP)
fund in the amount of$14,000, and the Gas Tax fund in the amount of $15,000; and
BE IT, THEREFORE, RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES:
Section 1. The following adjustments be made to the fiscal year 1997-98
Bikeways/Pedestrian fund, CIP and Gas Tax fund budgets:
