A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS
VERDES, AMENDING RESOLUTION 99-41, THE BUDGET APPROPRIATION
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999-00, FOR BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS TO THE CITY'S
GENERAL FUND, STREET MAINTENANCE (GAS TAX) FUND, TRANSIT
(PROPOSITION A) FUND AND CIP FUND
WHEREAS, Section 3.32 of the Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal Code provides that all
expenditures in excess of budgeted allocations must be by supplemental appropriation
of the City Council: and
WHEREAS, on June 1, 1999, the City Council of the City of Rancho Palos Verdes
adopted Resolution 99-41, approving a spending plan and authorizing a budget
appropriation for the 1999-00 fiscal year: and
WHEREAS, certain 1999-00 fiscal year program and/or department expenditures and
transfers to other funds, as described below, are expected to exceed the amount
budgeted; and
WHEREAS, certain 1999-00 fiscal year revenues, as described below, are expected to
be less than the amount budgeted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires that the fiscal year 1999-00 budget appropriation
for expenditures and revenues be increased (decreased) as follows:
General Fund:
City Attorney #001-103-40 Legal services $ 60,000
Parks/trail maint. #001-341-30 Maintenance services $ 5,000
Planning #001-401-35 Prof/technical services $ 41,000
Golf fees #001-327.10 Golf fee revenues $ (337,500)
Transfer out #001-391.20 Transfer to CIP fund $ 579,000
Street Maintenance (Gas Tax) Fund:
Street Landscaping #102-303-30 Maintenance services $ 5,000
Street Landscaping #102-303-35 Prof/technical services $ 10,000
Transfer out #102-391.20 Transfer to CIP fund $ 141,000
Transit (Proposition A) Fund:
Proposition A #116-316-35 Prof/technical services $ 862,000
Capital Improvement Projects Fund:
CIP #330-930.35 Prof/technical services $ 75,000
CIP #330-930.82 Impr. Other than Buildings $ 141,000
CIP #330-391.10 Transfer in from General fund $ 579,000
CIP #330-391.10 Transfer in from Gas Tax fund $ 141,000
BE IT, THEREFORE, RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES:
The following adjustments be made to the fiscal year 1999-00 General fund budget as
follows:
